Selbys continue to try to sell their house.
After lowering our prices we had a flurry of viewings, but as of yet they have come to nothing. We continue to trust in The Lord’s timings.

New Member
We have been encouraged to have a friend of Chris’ agree to join the mission in Hilton when he moves to the area to start work in August.

Christians in Hilton
We have been contacted by a number of Christians who live in Hilton and have heard about Grace Church. It is encouraging to see God already at work and as we have met with some of them it is exciting to see how these relationships will develop.

Introduction Group
We will be starting an introduction bible study group after Easter, meeting in Hilton. This will be for those people who are considering joining us, as a way for them to get to know us and our vision. It will be a temporary group meeting until the summer.

Chris has now moved into Hilton.
I moved in the week before Christmas and have now finished unpacking. Pray that I would quickly meet my neighbours and others in the community.

Chris starts a new job.
I have also started a job at the University of Derby Library, as reception/security for three evenings a week. It is not enough to pay all my bills so I will be looking for more formal ongoing support in the coming weeks. Pray that I would be a witness to my new colleagues.

Selbys continue to try to sell their house.
Our house has been on the market since Easter so this month we are looking at varying the price. Please pray for a buyer to come along.

People wanted.
We continue to approach people to invite them to join us, living in Hilton. So far, no one has agreed to. Please pray that God would provide workers for His mission field here. Especially that those we have asked would be clearly guided by The Lord.

 

Please join us by speaking to the one whose work it is. Pray that our Father in heaven would provide for all of our needs:

• Finances to get the project started
• People to join us
• Suitable paid work for Chris
• For Mark & Anna to sell their house and find somewhere to buy in Hilton
• Wisdom and godliness for Chris and Mark as they plan and prepare
• That this would stir up Christians already in Hilton to reach more people with the gospel
• That people who travel out of Hilton for church, would be keen to join us
• That we’d continue to enjoy good relationships with the existing church, so we can further the gospel together

We are working on a website, and also a leaflet introducing our plans to others. Please pray that these would give the information people want to read, and that it generates the support we need.
